Cool mix. I love the crowd in the stands.

Thanks – I was first trying to model the stands and tower at Daytona but could find enough high-res pictures.

I know what you mean. Sometimes I have a very hard time finding good pics for models and I’m not about to pay for stock photos. lol

How did you embed models? I don’t know how. Not in 3dvia shape.

@tomy – I use the latest version of Shape released just a few weeks ago. If you have not already, try downloading it again or starting the Shape software you may already have installed (it will force you to upgrade tot he latest).

Look in the bottom right corner of the Shape application and you will see a “search” box. Just enter a search term, click the magnifying glass and violla…you’ll get a search result. Click on the model you line and it will insert it into your current project. The default search result will give you results on a “turntable”… I’m a bit old school and prefer to use the “thumbnail mode”. You can switch between them by using the blue option menu at the very top of the interface.

NOTE…not all models on in our library can be used in Shape. Some models are either too large to be inserted or the owners have set their content license to restrict them from being used.

Give it a try and let me know how I can help.

Cheers,

David
