Export to 3DVIA Studio using Collada
One of the preferred format for importing 3D assets inside 3DVIA Studio is Collada.
Collada is a widely used 3D format, based on XML (and thus easily extendable), and supported either natively or thoughout plugins in most 3D-DCC software (like 3D Studio Max, Maya, Softimage, Blender, Modo, Cinema4D).
Although most Collada exporters share similar behaviors, they do not necessarily implement the same features. We’ve therefore contracted out a 3rd party company to compile DAE exporters that are verified to work well with 3DVIA Studio.
